West Plains Public Schools is curently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of high school math teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The successful candidate should possess or be able to obtain certification in math 9-12.

West Plains High School houses approximately 1050 students grades 9-12.  West Plains High School has a rich tradition of academic excellence.  In addition, a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities are offered to enhance and develop students individual strengths and skills.  

Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process and the ability to provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, and Response to Intervention.  The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction.
