The West Plains School District is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of middle school social studies teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. West Plains Middle School houses approximately 600 students grades 5-8. West Plains Middle School has a rich tradition of excellence. Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process and the ability to provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, and Response to Intervention. The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction.
