The West Plains R-VII School District is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of high school counselor for the upcoming school year. Certification by Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in counseling 9-12 or the ability to obtain such certification is a requirement of the successful candidate. West Plains High School houses approximately 1150 students grades 9- 12.

West Plains High School has a rich tradition of academic excellence. In addition, a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities are offered to enhance and develop students individual strengths and skills. Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively work with students and encouraging them throughout the learning process helping them achieve their maximum potential.
