The West Plains R-VII School District is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Social Studies Teacher openings for the 2025-2026 school year. Placement will be dependent on district need, but could be a shared position between West Plains High School and West Plains Middle School.

Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process and the ability to provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, and Response to Intervention.  The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction.  This will remain open until filled.
