The West Plains School District is seeking highly qualified applicants for a High School Science Teacher for the 24-25 school year. West Plains High School houses approximately 1150 students grades 9-12.  West Plains High School has a rich tradition of academic excellence.  In addition, West Plains High School offers a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities to enhance and develop students individual strengths and skills.  

 

Successful candidate(s) will possess the ability to actively engage students in the learning process and the ability to provide opportunities for students to achieve their maximum potential.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Missouri Learning Standards, and Response to Intervention.  The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support curriculum decisions and determine effectiveness of instruction.  This will remain open until filled.
